AWWWW that is sad.Maybe next time you should cut some small pieces of paper and throw them everywhere. If you have enough of them you should have a satisfactory amount of lost scissors and tape. If that doesn't work then you should get a pencil or marker and keep it with you. You will be surprised at how quickly it vanishes. If you have left out the pieces of paper it will help as well.

Quote: That's what I get, a very full pickup load full, about 60 bails at a time.
They are gorgeous!! and I LOVE the spots on mom.
Do you know much about Cavalier King Charles spaniels?
Before I was married I promised myself I would get one at some point (along with a peacock - and I did that part). We have always had mutts which have been great, but I do wonder about a CKC.
The other breed that sounds interesting is the labradoodle - though they may not be a true "breed".
But I'll look for a mix or a rescue.
Normal sized bales? How does he get 60 bales on a pickup truck? That's what I get, a very full pickup load full, about 60 bails at a time.

@Phage I would recommend a mix or a rescue, if you can find one. If not, find a good honest breeder. Cavs are prone to a fatal heart defect, which is what most likely took mine. I knew the breeder lost Dolly's mother, but I never thought to ask why. I'm willing to bet it was the same thing.
All that said, I still miss her dearly and will have another some day.But I'll look for a mix or a rescue.
