EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Okay, I have an incubating question.... (Gasp!)

Lockdown is on Wednesday. Air cells are large and have been since day 3, so humidity has been at 50% almost the whole time. If I left it at 50, I think AC size would be OK... Almost too big, but ok.

But, there is fluid in one of the egg's AC. Would running a lower humidity help get rid of that, or not?
I think it is a bit late for changing things. I'd worry more about the good ones than the problem child.
Since they're too big already, I'd get it as high as possible and keep it there the rest of the way. Keeping it low to help one may doom the rest.

So I finished another drawing of the coop, does it look ok? Any suggestions?
Looks good.

Merry Christmas all!

I'd leave it where it is.

No fresh stuff. I do have lettuce though...

Sounds interesting! Glad you got some nice gifts!

The Epic Saga of the Bird that Powers Civilization.
He traveled to all continents and did some incredible sleuthing to get the whole story from Red Jungle Fowl to what we have today.

I heard an interview with him on The Splendid Table podcast last year - fascinating! You'll have to tell me whether the book is a good read.

(Although lately I seem to never have time to read the new books I buy...)
