What colour nails?

they are yellowish - it's hard to tell like you can with a cat with white nails, for example.

She was broody for like 4 months, so she didn't scratch her nails down like the other chickens did, I picked her up today and noticed they were long and witch-like.

That's been the case with all of my chooks with overly long toenails.

I've been getting her to eat by coating my finger in crumbles. When she bites my finger, she gets a mouthful of crumbles.....

I'll say! She ain't really serious about biting, or I'd have had aquired a new set of scars long ago- I've seen what broody ducks can do.
