I actually do not envy the ice you get, it is far worse than the snow to me. We normally do not get ice, this year we have ice with snow on top of it. Not fun at all. My butt has a HUGE bruise from falling on it so often this year.

If we are going to deal with a little cold weather, it would be nice to get some snow! The ice is no fun at all!

Actually it's Oklahoma that's awful cold, my mom and dad grew up in PA and my dad and mom have been every state but Alaska and Hawaii and they say OK is the coldest place they've been.

I hate to disagree, but I am afraid I have to. Minnesota seldom ranks first in anything, so when we do we defend the title!

OK is ranked 33rd not even in the top half..

Really? I don't see it. Though I've been across America throughout the year, all year, for several years. Unless they're truckers, they need more variables.

It's really only if you get in a certain part of OK. Not truckers, my dad has worked for the railroad for near 10 or 11 years.

You can say what you want but I know in certain parts Ok has been colder feeling at 25 degrees than places I've been where it was -10.

yes, and you know when the temp falls below 30 I hurt so bad, joints and into ma bones, last night I had a rough night, really rough night, the wind and cold, its strange how it can be 70 inside and I still feel it in my bones, the only relief is hot bath and thats temp. I miss my hottub big time

I'm not sure what people here would do if we actually had snow. LOL I grew up learning to drive in the pacific northwest and we had snow, then I lived in a desert mountain and we got -20 degree weather and a LOT of snow all winter. LOL

Moved the duck house to the pond! Roof and doors up. Hoping to get them into their house on Monday.

Very nice! I would like to build something similar to put by my pond but the predator count is too high. turtles in the pond that usually take out half the newly hatched wild geese each year, coons, coyotes, fox, among others. I don't think they would fair very well without fort knox security.
