Try hatching seramas... 25% have the lethal gene plus anything else that happens... It's ok-it's God's way of taking care of culls for me since the lethal gene=creeper legMy girls and boys have been good to me though so far. However they are heated garage chooks...
Not planning on doing any LF breeding-just eggs

That might be the end of an in-law relationship for me. Not to mention a small claims court issue.yup... nothing to do with all the Brett Favre commercials that have aired though![]()

My brother in law literally burned all my Pack gear and bought me Lions stuff for Xmas a few years back though.

Quote: Giants went into Lambeau riding a 3 game post season streak against the Packers, too; didn't do THEM much good!
I would highly suggest that since people are charging top dollar for garbage birds. I hate to say it but unless you have an insider connection, people who are advertising "show quality" often take pics of their best birds but don't send from those pens... and out of the 75% that hatch, only 10% are breeder or show quality and I have when kids have to be in the position to either show bad birds they hatched and get a low score or DQ or cull. right now white is the only accepted breed with hopefully black soon to come so hard for 4H cage. That or top breeder are offering birds to kids who cant afford a good pair for the cost of shipping and they are culls with DQ's instead of telling them to save another $35 or so fora decent bird locally. I will sell people pet birds from good lines but I ask they send me an email understanding that the birds are "pet quality" and not meant for breeding or showing. hatching on shipped eggs is 30% at best tooOk maybe my friends will have to start with a different breed for leaning incubation.
it's all good-I could secretly cheer in myThat might be the end of an in-law relationship for me. Not to mention a small claims court issue.

please do and let me know. If anything i can help you find good local breeders for them. they will spend more for a pair or trio initially that they can then breed and incubate or may get "starter birds" but without shipping involved, they see what they're getting and get better quality for less.Yes it does, and I was factoring in the shipping rate with that. I'm not sure where they have to get their birds from or if they get a choice. I'll try and find out more next week.
