We are actually! it's warming up today!!! So glad. My goats are happier. They shiver when it is below 40. LOL and apparently aren't happy about the cold.

OH my TOM turkey was preening today, with his feathers out and showing off to the other turkeys.

He's the only one with a giant snood - so I'm wondering if I somehow got lucky and have 4 girls and 1 tom???!! None of the turkeys have a snood like his, nor have they preened.

The boy child occasionally gets backed up. Feeding him all the stuff that you're supposed to usually get's it moving again though.

OMG, I bet you were WIDE awake after that!!! Day 20 today - I'm about 12 hours behind Dan, set time-wise. I woke up to two pips!!!! MHP is warming up, brooder is ready, water is measured and ready to be mixed with the Pro-Vit stuff (trying it this time, Sally), gotta get to work. Hope to come home to more pips! dont you have issues with the boy and stinking (urine?) they are cute! I would have done what Arknarf aka Benny suggested.... since you have no fan you may have been ok and you dont know how long temp was high.... see below.... I will paste some info to help you, @Cassandra K

@10AcreChick you could attempt this, HOWEVER you need to be cautious of the fan sucking moisture out and it could end up to be more of a pain than not. check how much air flow the fan is first.

It is a good thing you can swim. (Most Californians anyway)

Funny you should mention that. One of our customers that are buying a home with a pool can't swim. No one in the family can swim. This will be interesting

Not the pets. ^.^ as long as these ones were nice to me, I was going to keep them as pets. I have 15 more coming in the spring. I'm going to eat a couple of those for thanksgiving/christmas, if I can figure out how to butcher by then.

I can sell a few around thanksgiving time, too.
