When I was on the way to the bowling alley @ 5:30 this evening, WHVR, out of Hanover, PA., was reporting that 1,000 chicks in south-central PA were killed today, but I didn't get any details.
Someone wanna fill me in?

Nice variety! I have a 12" pleco, albino oscar, and 3 red belly pirahnas. The kids each have a couple random fish too.

I took the opportunity to steal and candle my broody's eggs this morning while she was eating breakfast. She's doing very well and ask 4 are developing nicely! She only has about a week left till hatch. I'm hoping at least 1 is pure silkie lol

I would TOTALLY drive to PA to get eggs from you!!!! ("Yes, officer, I decided to buy some eggs in PA to take back home to TX. I take breakfast very seriously.")

Just did the Day 10 weights and checks for the first Puppy/Switch batch and the OE eggs. OE eggs are still losing too much weight, so I upped the humidity again. But all are developing really well. I can see into the Puppy eggs better, and they are all swimming all over the place. (Probably plotting escape first from the egg, then the hatcher, then the brooder, and next thing I know, they will have hijacked a Walmart tractor trailer and be heading for the border...)

Got to be the same one. Reception gets spotty down here after sundown for the Hanover station, so I wasn't getting it really clear.

With those numbers, it has to be a hatchery, I'm thinking.
