I went to the store, came back, wondered why I was't hearing the REALLY LOUD panel of metal roofing that had been threatening to rip off and blow away. Went out to check, and here's why - it got wedged.

I'll need to go up under there and pull it back down, and then see if I can find a way to get that panel tacked down again, but for now, it's keeping it from moving, so I'm leaving it until the wind dies down. (It's just over a deck/porch area anyhow).

Quote: Laundry here. At least the internet is back.

Hope it dies down soon. That upper bent part almost looks like house roofing.

Oh, it IS house roofing.

It's just that the OPEN part there is technically over the deck. This roof (poorly installed way back when) is actually over the ORIGINAL flat gravel roof - so there's a "second" roof over all the internal house rooms.

I could go on for days about all the things wrong with this "main house", in desperate need of renovation/rebuilding. Hence my use of it as a fancy barn...

I see. I was wondering why it wasn't better secured.
