Edit to add: To be more specific, when you watch it blow up, you can see the undersides of the screws that have been yanked out of the rafter/purlins by the force of the wind. Incorrect/poor placement of the screws in the roofing has led to slow water leakage around the screw holes and into the purlins, which have softened. Added to that, in this area, the roof panel overhung the edge by a bit. All that together with extremely strong wind gusts getting lift under that edge has led to this.
