We need a new dog, but are basset hounds good with chickens and other animals?

Yep, that says $260. It's a little expensive, but for a good dog......

But I did find some mastiff pups for a whopping $1500!!

$250 here in Michigan is standard for an adoption fee but the animal has been assessed, given a thorough exam noting any issues, all shots are UTD and it helps the rescue with dogs that are harder to adopt out and may have to stay with fosters longer. we rescue whenever we can
