Nice egg colors! I have a green tint to my most saturated eggs - I do have more blue ones, but they are a little less saturated (more washed out looking), and they are from the hen with ocular Mareks. I have a total of five laying legbar hens/pullets, and that'll do for now for me - but I want Ameraucanas in the future - I'd like to cross them with NNs to get green eggs and a pea comb. (I was going to with Goodwin, but alas, he's gone...)

Here's my egg skelter in my kitchen this AM (forgive the mess - that's on the to do list as well). You can see the lighter blue eggs (Jenny) and the deeply saturated blue green eggs (Lissa and the Three Witches). The color of blue eggs is always really hard to get on camera - direct sunlight is best for accuracy in the hue, I find...

Now that is what I wanted. This is what my CCL layed.

I call that an olive egg, none of mine lay that flat dull green. My worst ones are blue with a green tint.

Vet was out here tonight. She got me the bute powder, but there's a lump on the horses side. she's going to ask around to see who can do horse labs, and where to send them, and where to dispose of a horse.

She said she'd rate the horse a 7/10 1 being the best, 10 being the worst.

The horse is willing to eat, but not drink - even the "sweet feed" tea we've been marking her, she'll slurp out the water and spit the water out on the ground to get to the sweet feed. So, drinking is going to be a MAJOR problem for her, if she continues to refuse to drink water.

It's going to get 100-110 in just a few weeks, and I NEED her to drink water

She said she could give her fluids via a nose tube, and IV fluids - but those are "temporary" solutions. We are going to give her a week on the pain meds, and see about doing labs to see what else might be going on - she wants her to be a 5 by next thursday, or better.

If she's not.......... then she told us to start preparing to say goodbye

Here is a little White legbar pullet. I think she knows @Fire Ant Farm look at that scowl.

These are three eggs they laid under the nest box in the bedding, but with low lights the blue really pops..

i love the egg dispenser, and all the colors!! cant wait to see the fluffy babies

I'll have Sebastapol geese that should start laying over the summer.... if you want hatching eggs. I told Dwayne and Liz, I'd save her a few, too. But you, I could hatch and bring live babies too.
