well how do u know what the temp is in it constantly
as we all do, but life happens, you cant stand there the entire time you have to let it do its thing, i checked mine 3x a day when i turned my eggs, if it wasnt accurate at othertimes i dont care, it was correct when i turned the eggs, so therefore i am assuming it was correct at the other times tooI want it to be right
Chickens I have 10 Rhodebars, and 6-7 Dollie/sizzle/Cochins. And 8 mix breeds
I have 9 turkeys in blue slate, red slate, pencilled palm, narrangsett and bronze.
And 8 geese 6 Chinese 1 white 5 brown and 2 Toulouse.
wow, you really have cut back!
Order one of the 2 that Chicken Canoe suggested. calibrate and run the bator for 24 hours to make sure temp is steady and correct. I've found that my humidity is good and I don't need to add water until lockdown. And don't keep opening the bator! The less you mess with it the better chance you have.I want it to be right
I am very interested in the Native American, I prefer to call them Indians, history since I was a boy, all the beautiful books of Fenimore Cooper karl may, Jack London, all the comix of Tex willer, al the westerns I LOVE IT! I see alot of films at You tube about old technology and cooking ect.
I love learning about all native cultures and technology too. I don't know as much about those that were in the Northeast as I do about those farther west and in the Southeast. I probably know more about the Mesoamericans and some of the Central American tribes than I do about those in what is now the US and Canada.
but how does a spot check work if u need to have the temp checked constantly on the eggs
Not sure I understand the question. It works just like any other thermometer except it has a probe so the digital unit with the readout is outside the incubator and the probe is inside with the eggs.
someday i may want turkey eggs off you, esp if theyre from the pencilled oneYes and I have decided I am going to work on just Rhodebars and the Sizzles and then maybe one or two more breeds and slowly increase over the years.
the accuracy looks decent and i like that it keeps a 24 hour historyIs this one good
