oh dang!!!! that is way hot holy hard boiled eggs!!! I really suggest to everyone a wafer thermostat. You rarely hear of any issues with them compared to the digitals with them dumb probes!

I agree that is terrible,

However, I love my digitals. They hold so much closer than the wafer does.........Respectfully disagreeing, of course..

Well this is heartbreaking. I went to the store and when I got back the alarm on my incubator was going off. It didn't turn off when it hit the correct temp and by the time I got there the eggs were 185 degrees. It melted one of my analog thermometers. So I killed 84 chicks. I guess this is back to the drawing board.

Is it possible that it was only for a minute, and they are okay?

I have had goats before but had to get rid of them but I am really craving them again.

They were not Mini's but they weren't the huge ones either. I got them at a sales barn so it is hard to say. I remember the kids thought I was the greatest Dad in the world when I brought them home. The WWD was not willing to vote for me as greatest Dad at that moment.

I have had goats before but had to get rid of them but I am really craving them again.

You also have a $100+ spyder thermostat. From the research I did those look rock solid(and have significantly went up in price). I'm torn, I would prefer the proportional but options are extremely limited and don't seem to fit in with a budget build mindset.

ouch that thermostat hurts!! dang!!! not for one who makes their own laundry soap, dishwasher soap and fabric softner!! and uses skids for everything she can because they are free... yikers!!!

The boy child had one of them plant grass in a silly face things.....it worked great until he stopped watering it. Hope they get better soon.

Disagree all you wish, so many on here come and go and I tried to help.  I think I may have had two people say their wafer went, now the digitals, OMG temp issues out the   well ya know

Is it possible to lengthen the adjustment stem on a wafer?? I saw how you accommodated on one of your coolers and was curious.
