I only have one in all of mine, and they run almost year round and KNOCK WOOD still havent failed me, even if I let the cooler lid open a tad it sticks to the correct temp!

I guess I just don't understand how wafers work, and how to use them

I use a dog play pen. I put a tarp then the heavy plastic and clip it to the outside with clothes pins. Dog puppy pads the first week, then shavings. Then at the end I pull the pen fold up the tarp, and take it out to compost disposing of the plastic. If you keep them in more than a couple of weeks, I cover it with bird netting.

Yup, that's the plan! DH thought of that one, have a large dog crate we don't use! Just gotta drag it out of storage. Most excited about making the Mama Heating Pad cave, have used one before but it's all dis-assembled now. Using an extra oven rack for the roof!

I cannot get it to work, it seems to screw up the digital, I am GOING to find a way to cut it off at 102 some how, even if I need a fuseable heat link.

I just cannot do it now as I have them all running.
