Good evening all. Just got in the house, had a shower and attempting a read back. Another long day but at 75 degrees I'll take it and be happy. Hope all is well here.

IT is disgusting to have, but if you just relax say a ton of words that would get you detention,,,,then spray like crazy, hopefully it will just be a bad memory....

I am fortunate that I can get the "good" stuff" and that we caught it before it hurt the birds.

Good morning all.

Thank you all for the sympathy yesterday.

9 of the chickens ended up surviving. Still have one unaccounted for. I imagine she is dead and I just haven't found her. This is the first time my dog has dug out of the yard, not sure what set her off, very upsetting day.

All the goat pictures are giving me goat fever!!!

Sometimes depending on the temperatures my horse will pee and when it hits the ice/snow it turns pink

Proteins in the urine, called pyrocatechines, oxidize in low temperatures, which produces colors ranging from a light pink to red, orange or brown. The same thing can occur when a sample of urine is refrigerated.

I lost an entire litter of pups, save one that I sold 700 miles away, to parvo. from the loss of the 1st to the loss of the last (7 in all if I recall). I'd raised enough pups to know parvo when I saw it; told the vet from the get-go that it was parvo, but he didn't believe it. He never admitted it was parvo of a strain he's never seen until the whole bunch was dead.

It's a real shame that there are vets loose on the streets that won't accept the fact that there are actually non-vets who know a little bit of something

Pigs and indestructible go together about like cheap and quality.

Plan on running a hot wire along the bottom of your fence.

lucky for me, it's a pot belly pig, and not a full sized sow!

30 pages since last night. Whow!

Good Saturday everyone. Good day for me. I couldn't resist. I candled one of my eggs today on day 4 and it's perfectly on schedule.

I didn't check air cells, I'll do that on day 7. DH said he would do pictures for me. I was just so excited to see actual LIFE in one of the eggs that I was acting like the little emojies. Literally!

Anyone here make maple syrup from your own trees? We're attempting it this year. A guy at our church took us out to his camp this morning to show us how they make it. Definitely really neat! We came home and tapped 6 of our maples to try it. I swear we already have two gallons and we just did it maybe two hours ago. I thought it would drip slower than that!

I want to!!! I thought it was too early!!! dang I cant again this year uggghhhhhh

Well, butter my britches and call me a bread sandwich, I've never heard of them before. Honestly, I'm not even sure Ralphie understands Ralphinese. One of the great mysteries in the world, why do cats always land on their feet? Why do children always sass their elders? Why does Ralphie not make a lick of sense?
