EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Well, butter my britches and call me a bread sandwich, I've never heard of them before. Honestly, I'm not even sure Ralphie understands Ralphinese. One of the great mysteries in the world, why do cats always land on their feet? Why do children always sass their elders? Why does Ralphie not make a lick of sense?

Trying to visualize this - when you say wrap one above and one below, I'm not sure what you mean...

Yeah, tonight was hard on both of us. Because he is a good boy, I wasn't restraining him, and it was mostly that he was losing patience with me because I was being a klutz. I'll use a towel next time. Thank you both so much!!!! :hugs

One strip above the back toe, and one below.

Mel, how bad is it? For example, when spreading the hackles, do you see 0-1, 2-3, or 5+? Under wings? Vent?

Each bird has a different louse "hot spot"....
OK, so I'm going to do the checks tomorrow night. I've been mostly just checking the vent. What are the other hot spots to check for lice and mites - so, under wings, back of neck, anywhere else?

first thing I did was see if you took some, I only got a few pics and wellllll sorta LOST a serama in the lower level, swear it went under the couch, looked all over for an hour no peeping nothing, here the little turd is sitting on top of the dang brooder waiting to go back in!!!!

Bet it was the snot nose one...

Thigh fluff often has a few. Hackles are the biggest spot- I've never seen lice at the vent. I'll get pics when I next change her bandages, k?? I stink at explaining stuff!
