EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

They are less than a year, haven't begun laying yet. Maybe hatched in May/June last year. I have that rooster from Sally's Pepper that's nice size. I've thought about rehoming, or using to hopefully increase egg size in the OE and Maran eggs.

I really wanted some of her project birds. I wish I had known in time.

Any interest in Pepper's boy. Some day I'll be going to visit my Mother out in MO.

Okay, I'll let you know over hopefully over the weekend. Yes that rooster would be a good candidate for helping to increase egg size.

Sounds good!

Me two or them two?

us two-you are "innocent" for once... :ya

:woot   Congratulations Chaos!

And you didn't get stuck in the field the bunny was running across at the time?  You got lucky!

Hi! How are you doing?

I'm not ready for any marathons yet,but I'm getting there. Low BP was making me dizzy (more so than normal, Chaos), but I'm told that's normal after major surgery. Eyes are still blue, so I guess I was a bit low.

Whites, nice to see you here. I hope you continue to improve and get your brown eyes back.

A Riddle to sharpen your brain in this wonderful day.

At one of the evening German newspaper, in December 1934 was written an article, and this

Paragraph is from that article :" the honorable Brigadier General Von Schmidt, the hero of WW1

was involved in a train accident, and died from his wounds. The funeral will be at the main Berlin

Cemetery the public is invited to give tribute to his memory "

What is the problem here?

It wouldn't be called World War One yet?

Yes!

A very intelligent member of my people said "that EVERYTHING is relative! "

It is very true..... It's 40 here and I'm outside in a shirt. In August if it was this cold if be in a jacket.
:lau

Phil, I love this photo - I can see enough of your face to tell she's your favorite. :D

Brrrrrrr.....

Yes, put us out of our misery already....

She is....

Ah, I thought it was a rewrite to clarify it was the 1st WW...

Back then they just called it the “Big One "..... Or just " The War"

Sounds like a great dog. Most of us have many great animals, but for most of us there is one or maybe a couple that hold our hearts. They do that long after they are gone, but never forgotten. His memorial says Forever my Pretty Boy I love you.

Yes, they have such a special place in our hearts.

Those were buggers to candle, so I just kept the ones I couldn't see through.

Congratulations! Good luck with the rest.

Quote: Thanks. I'll feel a lot better when the incision heals & quits itching. Tough to get any sleep

Ohm that would make sleeping rough.

Quote: Nice!

Quote: DIL took it a bit ago; showed I was dead. Assuming a glitch in the reliability of the BP cuff.
I was dead a few days ago, changed the batteries and all is well again.

Spring!

Quote: Hi Phil! You go to see any of the race? That is a bit warm for the dogs.

In 1934 you could not KNOW that the WW 1 was the first WW, because the SECOND didn't brake yet!
You could know that there is 2 WW, only after the second broke out!
