For your guinea pigs...

Hey all I am caught up!!

WHew having to catch up and comment is a lot of work,,,

I most admit I did not look at the "coop" banti was building.....

I would assume it is a igloo style coop...   Like most people in northern Iceland have...

NorthWEST Iceland, thanks much.... :plbb

This is the style I want, 'cept 16' x 14'ish.

No thanks then.

I have 2 chicks that hatched in January and I'm pretty sure they're both boys.
10 chicks that hatched ranging from 1 to 2 weeks ago.
The 2 older ones are going into the coop today. I may even move the littles out today or tomorrow if I get it set up right.
I have 45 eggs due to hatch on the 28th. I need more space but I hope to sell a bunch of those.
I decommissioned a building that proved vulnerable to mink and then raccoons chewed their way into one of the pop doors. I'm trying to redesign it because I really need it as a grow out coop.

Do you show birds? I always hope for roosters on my first hatches, because they mature slower. I think my first hatch of SS was all girls....

Good luck on the hatches and keeping the fur bearing varmints out.

As soon as I posted the bunny, I thought "Abi is going to take away my duckling and do nothing but shove spiders in my face for the next few days." Wasn't going to? Have you ever passed up an opportunity to torment moi?
I was only going to do it once. But if you want it for days, days you shall receive! I have been silent for so long, there is no way to even get half way through the list anymore.
You just like that question mark.

I think you should come down here and build a practice coop here before you do your own,,,

Pay for the materials, import fees, food for my sled dogs to make it there, and $1000 a week extra... And sure, I'll do it. But only if you take a turn with the framing nailer every now and then, coz that thing is heavy.
