I have had white birds they never seem to get picked off a lot faster than the rest...They all get eaten at some point...Stupid ugly predators!

X 2 the cyclone fencing I've put up seems to be helping with that. They still free range of sorts but it keeps the sneak attacks from occurring so much

If you want some hatching eggs, let me know. I have sex linked/EE Roo - that should produce green and a variety of colors, and my EE/roo produce beautiful green eggs.
I just want to say thank you and that are one of the kindest and generous people I have met

I have some AM's that produce a bluish green egg and several olive eggers. Just hard to get a true blue egg. Actually, my bantam white layers have been producing the best/darkest yolk. But people see the outside before the inside so it is nice to have variety in the basket/carton to lure them in

Same courtesy goes to you on eggs-even sebbies when I can get a small separate flock or if you are interested when my sebbie/toulose mixes grow up and start laying

Hey, Jess.
Any clue as to how long the temp was that low? Since the inside's going to change temp slower than the outside, chances are everything's fine. That's 'bout all I can offer.

Thanks! Best I can tell is 12 to 18 hours. The eggs felt cold. But they were chirping! I'm hoping that we didn't kill the rest.

Mine get outside, but they are in a covered pen made of dog kennel fencing covered with 1/2 hardware cloth buried into the ground and out from the fence.

I am, thanks.
Is there any reason I couldn't take Benadryl to relieve the terrible itching of the incision trying to heal from the inside? Can't sleep for chit because of it.
I don't know honestly Whites-so many "allergy/sinus meds" are off the table when you have BP or heart issues. Sleeping is definitely an issue though that is needed to promote healing. have you tried a topical anti itch cream or is that allowed at this healing stage?

Do you guys want a good evening laugh??? While secretly watching a "3 way silkie fight" - 3 little fuzzballs bouncing off each other- I was ambushed by both of my 'troubled" roos
