Thanks! I think it'll be one of those "what is meant to be will be". I had a bad feeling about it the second I took it out of the box (having had a few weak ones that didn't make it in the past). @Pensmaster - sorta bummer, but actually, possibly a blessing NOT to have 50+ chicks all the same age at the same time. I might get a little breathing room this way...

Well, I did a quick candling. No internal pips but I am seeing twitches in a few of the eggs. I marked the dips in the air cells, turned them all with the dips up and haven't touched them since. Tonight I am going to fill up the the water wells and lock them down.

Now comes the waiting.

I have to admit that it seems weird to not turning these little souls every three hours like I have been doing. Instead, I'm just standing by the counter, staring at them as if that is going to help and occasionally saying "OH! Was that a twitch?"

All 11 eggs look viable. Nothing unusual in any of them. My last bantam eggs hatched on day 19 under a broody. Tomorrow is day 18............
