Did you know that when I came home from the hospital all the chicks were hatched that day, there were two two serama stuck zipping and I made him do the ugly deed because he didnt check my bator the entire time I was in, nor turn the eggs in the other bator, this hatch is gonna hatch just fun I can see already

I'll catch some while straightening the fence my neighbor so nicely reminded me that I have to do. I'm borrowing his post driver and he just texted where it is in his yard.
They may not be pretty though the rain has hit them hard. Including hail.

That is so precious!!!! Thank you for posting these photos of these little boys as they play and grow - I'm really enjoying them! 
How do you have eggs this early? My hens lay all day long, and I don't collect until about 5pm.

(Or do you collect multiple times a day to catch them before they freeze? If so, whadda pain - and I'll remind you of this the next time you defend your ice-encrusted kingdom up there, Elsa. 

I collect 2-5 times a day, depending if I'm working or not and the severity of weather.

About 2:00 am the other day yes. Small but loud storm past through quickly. Not unusual for us to get hail once and awhile just not large ones like back in Texas
