Had two does kid yesterday. The first one around 3:00 pm, she had 2 bucklings and 1 doeling. The other kidded around 8:00, She had three doelings, sadly, only two survived. The first group, the black one is the doeling. The second group, two doelings. @daxigait I'm at 4 bucklings/ 4 doeling (5 counting the one that didn't make it) with at least one kidding to go.

Very nice. Too bad about the one. Do they typically keep all three.

Interesting development - Opal does not like Brooke. (To be fair, I was warned about this, which is why there are litter boxes on either side of the house.) From her body language watching Brooke prowling in the darkened bedroom from the living room, it seems that Opal likes me more than Brooke. Not sure if this is a good thing or not.

Goats can be easy keepers, it's the milking that ties you down.

I don't know much about indoor cats, will they fight with each other if they really don't like one another? I certainly hope not.

Brooke is the one that free ranged right. Used to freedom maybe

I agree. Not enough time in the day with my chickens let alone goats. Cute though. They would be helpful in munching the grass.
