Yeah, it was kinda awful. I was actually thinking of you and wishing I had a mower like yours... (Providing it works, of course. You DID ultimately get it fixed, right?)

I like my little mower, though I abuse it. It's nimble, because I need to navigate a lot in the back wilder area. I also kinda maybe sorta take out small saplings with it. Might have been the reason for two of the chokes.

I have a riding lawnmower, and it's so much nicer than the 15 year old hand mower that dies lots... Doesn't handle well, but it can tow a small dump trailer, so I can haul topsoil from the piles in the back acres up to my garden as needed.

Yeah, my mower works. Still gotta pull the plugs to shut it off, but I've dropped all the money I intend to trying to fix the same problem.
That little mower ain't gonna stand up to that load very long; not built for it. What you need is something like a 32" walk-behind with a decent engine on it.....like 10-14 hp. I was partial to the Gravely.

I am looking forward to lawn mowing this summer. I bought a Cub Cadet 54" zero turn mower on closeout last fall. The cool ones with the sticks for steering like a dozer has. I am even thinking of using the brush hog on the bobcat to make my lawn bigger so I have more to mow. I think I used the new mower once or twice and was amazed how fast and well it works.
