I am looking forward to lawn mowing this summer.  I bought a Cub Cadet 54"  zero turn mower on closeout last fall. The cool ones with the sticks for steering like a dozer has.   I am even thinking of using the brush hog on the bobcat to make my lawn bigger so I have more to mow.  I think I used the new mower once or twice and was amazed how fast and well it works.

I have had that exact mower for over 5 yrs now. 22 hp v twin. Cut my mowing time down from 2hrs to 45min. The ZT is a big time saver, but the power you can mow so fast.

I grilled out supper and it was snowing sideways. Calling for 3"-6" with highs in the teens lows in the single digits.

Why can't we get away with mowing lawn like we shovel snow? You know a bit down each side of the drive and walk. Path to the coops and maybe a little my the mailbox.

We're still 78* at 6:50. The freezing nights are not usually over till April. Not good. I'm tilling all grass this year. My neighbors are out mowing and will be for the next few months.
