Phage do you CCL lay really blue eggs?
good to know! The first import of CL did. The later imports laid greener ones. Actually the second import also laid blue eggs but they were micro in size, came about once a week and the roosters were crazy aggressive.
I think a problem is that breeding together birds that lay really intensely blue eggs results in them becoming slightly turquoise due to the higher content of bile products in the shell.
If I wanted really blue eggs I would beg Ralphie for some of his white Legbars as they came from the first import (assuming they are not mixed).
