It was fortunate that there wasn't any box damage that's for sure. Quite a variety of egg size and color some look porous and misshapen. We'll see what happens. But none cracked without candleing that is.

Phage do you CCL lay really blue eggs?

The first import of CL did. The later imports laid greener ones. Actually the second import also laid blue eggs but they were micro in size, came about once a week and the roosters were crazy aggressive.

I think a problem is that breeding together birds that lay really intensely blue eggs results in them becoming slightly turquoise due to the higher content of bile products in the shell.

If I wanted really blue eggs I would beg Ralphie for some of his white Legbars as they came from the first import (assuming they are not mixed).

My recent egg purchase arrived like this:

And they were double boxed.

I can only assume that Ralphie intercepted them and stomped on the box assuming that they were DUX eggs

Edited to say these were NOT from Ralphie incase anyone misunderstood - he would never send dux eggs and pretty sure his shipments are protected by magical powers anyway so arrive in perfect condition.
