Pretty much everything. I just don't like them, I don't think an eight week old chick should weigh like 8lbs. Also, they are ill suited for my set up.

Goats are different... They're bigger, and need more space than ducks. So I really shouldn't get some until the coop is up.

3 of my silkie eggs have pipped a big hole in the shell a few hours ago I've been watching it carefully and looks like the membrane is drying and they can't seem to move around to zip. What shall I do?

Nothing for 12 or better 24 hours.
If the bator is kept shut and humidity is at correct level there is no reason for the membranes to be drying out more that it should.
