I was looking at some BLRW and was interested in what you could find wrong with the parents. They have sold since, but he sells often.

These look pretty good to me. Confirmation, comb, color and lacing all nice.

Do they have many birds to chose from? Could you possibly check the structure of the bird? Or do you know the seller well enough? The hen I had shipped to me last year doesn't have the best structure and isn't laying as many eggs as the others. Still trying this structure thing out and on the ones I've been keeping it does seem to be making a difference

The parents are 2nd generation foley line. I get what hatches, but told him I want blue no splash or black.

I believe You should breed black back to each generation to retain the correct color otherwise in a couple of generations the color will be wrong.
