I'm sure you get the early watermelon variety. What types of tomatoes?

I have over a month for frost free days.

When I lived in Susanville Ca the last year we were there it froze at least one day a month every month. Pretty much no garden.

Yep, busy busy. Theme is finalized, staff all hired. Pool is ready. I found you a house and land! Been fundraising like my life depends on it; visited 50+ businesses, got $2450 and 9 items for silent auction, 11 call back in the next two days. About a fifth of the way to my goal. Two weeks ago I asked the other 9 people on the fundraising committee to visit 15 places and get $1k each which should be easy. But none of them have. Anyway, my body is basically coffee, cokes, and cheeseburgers at this point. Shirts are designed and I'll turn those in this week. Fundraiser is April 22nd, then CIT weekend, then staff come in May 15th and we get started.

Ps: I shot that snake in the head and the chick survived!

Ok. WOW WOW AND WOW. that's crazy busy and the chick survived. I was going to ask if that was a recent shot of the snake.

Body wound is from being coiled. I thought it was a moccasin and assumed the chick was a goner. Otherwise I might have been more careful. Chick had a little speck of blood, nothing else.

Moccasin might be a good name for the chick. What an incredible shot!

Peter, I have Mountain Magic, paste tomatoes, and Rose tomatoes started.

I have 7 varieties this year for some reason paste tomatoes don't do well here. At least in past years. Blossom end rot usually gets them. Overall last years crops didn't produce much.
