EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Today is day 14, I tried to put them in the bathroom and turn on the shower, but it got to humid. The coldest they ever got was 68. I am kinda worried.
At day 14 it would probably have been better to leave them clustered in the incubator. Keep in mind that a hen comes off the nest almost daily. If it should happen again, keep them clustered and cover them while you figure out how to heat water, brick, stone, metal, etc. as a means of introducing a temporary heat source to the incubator.
Depending on what kind you have.
The internal egg temperature was likely higher.

and it lives in the lower level
it is eight weeks old and will stay less than 1.5 lbs

lol, shes cute

I saw the picture; didn't see the video. Those rubber fins look more suited to defeathering chickens than moving large quantities of bluestone gravel.
they work GREAT!!

You can tell the entire world if you want; I don't care...I'm fixin' to be a great grandpa for the 2nd real time.
CONGRATS!!!

Power has been out a couple hours. Just came back on. I think the eggs will be ok.

throw hot water bottles in it, or hot stones
