Now my son can haul the boat; I only see it once, maybe twice a year. It sat here for 3 years w/o moving 'cause there was nowhere I could use the gas motor except on the river, which can be nasty & dangerous for someone who's not used to it. Motor too heavy for one man to handle, so here it sat. Son had sold his boat & was w/o one with a world of great fishing within an hour's drive in any direction, so I gave him 1/2 interest in it & the two of us dragged it to WI. He used it for a few years 'til the trailer got so bad it wasn't safe to use. He never took it out last year. We'd been looking for a replacement trailer for 3 years with no luck, then suddenly, 2 days ago, we were covered up with them. Ya just never know what's around the next corner. Now we need to come up with a way to get the boat off the old trailer & onto the "new" one w/o moving it.
Maybe that is what I should invest in! I currently carry a cane with me and whack him with it when he attacks, but he doesn't seem phased by it.
