Sebastapol geese are hard to find.I waited a year to get them from Metzer farms............
That sounds like a great cock.I put 3 babies under her, and left her in a dog crate while she got to know them for a few days. Once she knew who they were, that's when I put them out. LOL
The rooster's been chasing her back to her babies everytime she wanders too far away.... so i'm pleased with him.
The biscuits are done! Anyone want some biscuits and sausage gravy? With eggs and cheddar (and hot sauce) of course!
Go for it you know she is good at it after all.Jace turns two today... And just like last year, she's broody...
I'm thinking to just let her set.

I know you meant it completely innocently, but the image that popped into my head when phrased that way, had me LOLing ^.^That sounds like a great cock.
I will enjoy the thought as I can't have it on my diet anyway. Enjoy for me![]()

You're lucky. I've yet to find any way to order them from any feed store here with in 300 miles, and the only people who deliver to where I live, was Metzer Farms.True, true.
Feed store has them here.
Better than my cockerel that hung itself with a towel label from the towel on mhp. He fell off the ramp out the pop door and the towel only came part way. Sad, but unreal the odds against that happening, but foulOutside for an hour, and one of the geese almost killed itself. Found a pink string used to measure fence lines, and tangled itself up and swallowed over a foot of the line. Luckily, since it was wrapped around it's ankle, I was able to cut it free, an dpull the excess out of it's belly.
Oh my, what are the odds.
Happy Easter.
If it is under a broody I would leave it alone. It will hatch or not.
