Fire Ant Farm
Get off my lawn
Just remembered - I used Pick No More on the pullet, not BluKote. (FWIW)

Single. I would never intentionally have twins, after having my twin boys at 24 weeks and having ot watch one die at 3 weeks old.Are you hoping for a singleton or multiple birth this time?
Hallucinating?A space ship just crash landed in the field; now there's half a dozen little green guys in my pasture.

I wouldn't put anything on it other than betadine. Mine that survived healed on their own. There's nothing to stitch, it's gone. You can see my pics here:

Thank you. She's a mutt, with possibly Sultan and bantam EE in her.Looks like a carnation comb (king's comb). If that is a Marans, side sprigs are a disqualification in Marans. Only Penedesencas and Empordanesas are supposed to have carnation combs. I won a comb contest with mine. They call them carnation because they're supposed to open up resembling a flower from behind.![]()

I LOVED the car door episode!! It hit 60 once in the last bit. I went from shade patch to shade patch all day. That happened to be the day I decided to take the dogs for a 8km walk.Oh, I can hear it in my head: "You first need to get yourself a tractor batt'ry. These are easily available at your local farm after dark. You get your jumper cables and hook one side up to the hood, and another side to the wheel well there, and you're all set. When the bear comes for the feed, he'll get a jolt so bad he'll be dancin' for weeks." Then he'd reach for the car door and shock himself.Hey, stranger! Long time no see - glad to see you!!! Friday was about 90F degrees here, and then yesterday it only went up to 72F, and was in the low 60s in the evening. I was at Tractor Supply last night, and the saleswoman who was in the parking lot shivered and said conversationally to me, "Can you believe this chilly weather in April?!"

Hot diggety. Hang on a sec; I'm gonna go rifle through the couch cushions.well if you ever decide to move to Alaska have a hundred and fifty Acres with a Salmon (and Rainbow Trout) Creek running through it I'd love to sell.Just kidding, it is too expensive for most, but we can't afford the taxes if we split it up to sell it in pieces.
I've seen much worse than campins chooks, they all survived. Chickens are hardy little beasts.I did finally get the pictures up; nasty looking. I believe I'd go with ChickenCanoe. She may well surprise you & bounce back; Kristen's hen did it, Banty's duck did it....stranger things have happened.

Thanks y'all. I've dealt with dog/coyote attacks before, but somehow the ripping seems different than picking. Unfortunately, the white pullet has already died. I had a feeling that would be soon. The frizzle will probably be fine.
depends on what state you are in. I have been told that DC has some colourful creatures.Ya mean little green guys runnin' about ain't normal?
