It's apparent that I got lucky with my last batch of turkeys. only 1 had a death wish. Maybe that's the mom of the turkeys who are offing themselves?

did you know, my newest batch of ducks are quite friendlier than my last batch of ducks, simply because my geese let me pet them, and they watched the geese and took their cues that i'm a good person from them?

My last batch of ducks still act like we are trying to eat their faces off.

Sometimes they do. I try to give them a tutor in life to start with. A chick or slightly older poult to teach them the things they need to learn. Like what water is and how to drink it... How to peck at something edible. How to poop. How to sleep. How to not roll over on their backs and play dead...Little things..


Kajiri I have on refusing to stand, It can but instead it likes lying on its side like a horse. I figure if it is not dead now it will be soon. However I think I only lost a couple out of this hatch of 22 or was it 24.
