Somehow relieved to have lost the quote of Ralphie's weird proposal of sorts. But for completeness, just so we're clear...

Flat top? As in one of those new fangled stoves?! You need to buy a separate countertop burner for canning then.

Nope - works just fine. They say that because it's heavy, and they don't want to violate the warranty of the stove or have people get mad at them because it broke their stove. But I have a 13 quart cast iron Le Creuset gumbo pot that's heavier than this when full and lidded. (Indeed, I broke the top of my previous stove by dropping a cast iron pot on it, so I'm familiar with the pain of that...) That's why I got this model and not a bigger one - it's almost the smallest. (I DO actually have a separate countertop burner - but usually just use the stove, as I'm short on countertop space.) Here it is coming to pressure on the largest burner (which is about the size of the bottom of the pot).

Never fear; definitely getting hwc down below.

Well, I went to the feed store today... They had about 20 little webbies there.. now they have 17 little webbies there.

Is it just me, or does Ralphie have that look in his eye like he's up to something?! (I'm not kidding - before I saw the names, I thought, "that one is going to be a trouble maker". So, perfectly named!

They do holidays and weekends. Eggs don't care what the doctors schedule is for fertility treatment. LOL

Well, I'm on call, but we could maybe get together between chores then.

Uh, Benny, where did we stash all that medication we were stocking for Bubbles and her duck-itis? Looks like we may have an outbreak on our hands...

Ralphie as a duck is a bit funny, and as you know I have Chaos (not named by me) she is a goat. She is very sweet, but she can sure get into trouble or cause it. The funniest moment was her head getting stuck in a bucket. It took me bit to stop laughing too hard to help her out.
