Yeah. Sweet! I see. We were gonna raise one for meat, then I didn't get the band quite right so I missed one and after the $200 vet bill it was decided he was no longer dinner.

I think the key to a good teenager, is an excellent Grandfather figure to steer them straight and give them good advice....

I actually had no problems with my kids as teens. other than one errant teenage boy, that meeting said boy in full uniform and sidearm did not take care of...all we did was talk too..


My Kids had my Dad to turn too. He never steered them wrong. I will miss him until the day I die.

Waiting on the last broody. She has one duck egg. I'm hoping she gets a baby. I think I'll break the two chickens if she succeeds. That and "seriously?! Why hasn't I killed those stupid roosters yet?!" has been going through my mind.

I'm really good at to-do-lists.

I have a pair of broodies sitting side by side. We shall see what hatches. I really should have candled to check fertility, but I am not in need of more chicks. I just hope for their sakes they get a couple.
