You going for SOP on any one breed?Too much work. I'll just order hatching eggs if I ever am getting worried about too much line breeding. LOL
However, i'm only a few years in, and my backyard flock is semi-random, so... the gene people is pretty diverse at this point LOL
One is plural the other is not.Don't = do not
Doesn't = does not
Same tense from where I sit.

Ten bucks says Whites is gonna jump all over this post....my EE rooster is with 6 EE girls, 2 fullsized brown cochins, and 2 red sex links. I've hatched a couple of the sex links, and none of the cochin mixes. I'm not a fan of the fullsized cochins, so no desire to hatch their eggs.
I've hatched some of the EEXEE eggs.
Mostly, I am hatching Silkie eggs. I have 1 bantam cochin in there with them, that's the daughter of my mini cochins in my other field, (and that rooster is over 3 fullsized cochins, and I did hatch some of their eggs, my bandtam cochin White fluff, 3 polish crested, a RIR hen and a sex link.)
Mostly... I'm going for silkies, although the cochin/silkie crosses that Star has produced are pretty freaking cute.
I also have 3-4 other silkie roosters to pick from, if I wanted to swap them out. I have Ging, and Bubbles living with my bantam cochin rooster. As far as I can tell, they don't try to mate with Biter's girls at all.
I disagree 100%One is plural the other is not.

If you do, we NEED video.I don't show my girls. I am not trying to sell my girls on purpose. I just like em, to like em. I'm debating on setting up an agility chicken course and trying to clicker train them just for the hell of it. LOL
I don't have chickens as anything more than a fun hobby. I'm not trying to make a new breed, and it's mostly a closed flock (meaning, if I get sick of them, I won't hatch anymore eggs, and statistically in 5-7 years, I should be chicken less.)
This is just something I like to do, because I like to do it. haha
