Do you guys have similar holidays that the USA does for school system? I was curious about that. When do you guys usually have time off?
We have holidays in all the jewish holidays in the month of Tisheri ( September October ) we have almost 2 weeks, on the month of Kislev (usually on November ) we have another week, on the month Adar (March ) anoter 3 days on Nisan (April ) 16 days, on Sivan (may-June ) 3 days but the best is the summer vacation from the 20 of June to the 1 of September! :wee

i know you guys don't celebrate "christmas" the way the US does, is that what the 2 weeks are in november?

Christmas is a Christian holiday, the Christian community do celebrate it wonderfuly here. But we don't, on November it is the holiday of HANUKKAH חנוכה the holiday of light.
