I'm awake, I'm awake. Having tea instead of coffee this AM, and muesli with some really delicious goat milk I got from a local farmer. A little headachy this AM (nothing big, just enough to make me not want to do anything), but I'm gonna need to get going soon. Lots to do today. It's going to be a moderately warm one, 95F.

You have a lake cabin and go to it???

WOW, how lucky. I have a cabin on a lake and have not been there since Oct 2015. I assume it is still there, I get an electric bill every month an pay taxes on it.

It is a tad remote and takes 5-6 hours to get to it.

Every time I look at wanting to get some land outside of the city, I think of this type of thing - I would probably never go out there (time wise). I'd need to cleanly move all the way to have animals there (so I could care for them), and I like my house/property. Maybe after I retire...

heya! broodies are going smothly, I candled the eggs a couple of days ago, but one of the air cells on one of the eggs is one the wrong side, any Ideas on whether I should be worried or not?

Try borrowing Ralphie's bat. It helps calm the "migraine" for a few hours.

And then I will be " calmed" in a building with bars on the windows and some huge guys saying that I am looking good today!

FYI the egg that Was developing upside down, because I didn't see an aircell, AND it was in the slightly smaller end... a few days after I flipped the egg over, it appears to have died. So this definitely wouldn't work.

Bummer... I had the same thing happen to the one I set upsideown.

You never candel an egg from a broody! As more as you mess with her has more the chance she will abandon the clutch!

I smoked half a turkey breast (just over 13 pounds). Turned out pretty good, going to do the other half breast and leg/thigh quarter soon.

Did you marinated the meat? Did you use any special flacks for taste?

What do you mean by wrong side? Pointy end?

Just a new set up... If you go to the end and then quote it doesn't do that. And no, it isn't visible to anyone else. It's set up like that so you can reply on a readback and not lose your page, I think.
