EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Lines are WAY darker this morning! :O

Also, we saw signs of racoons, so we are going to set a live trap up near the canal/ditch. so we can shoot it.

:clap Good luck with the raccoon. I always have signs... I don't trap because I'd end up trying to trap all of the raccoons in the whole city...

My chickens think mice are delectable little treats. They LOVE when they share food, because then they catch, kill, and eat the mice like little puppies.
Seriously, you've ever seen a chicken running around with a mouse in its mouth while an entire flock chase after them for their share of the bounty.

Mine do this, too. Mice and frogs. Yum!!! (Also hysterical to watch.)

I'm taking today and tomorrow off to try to make some headway with not only some chicken stuff but also household stuff (so I don't feel so behind all the time). Of course, that means I need to DO stuff, but I think I'll have another cup of coffee first.

Good morning sallys house. @BantyChooks and everyone that's interested. I only had five eggs in the bator . One duck egg and for chicken eggs. But they all hatched. Thanks for all the help last night with the chick that piped on the wrong end. If it hadn't been for y'all I would have killed that chick
I saw that! Congratulations, you did fantastic. :hugs
