They've acclimated well. Good deal on them.I know right! At least the new chickens are laying, I've gotten five eggs in the two days I've owned them.

Didn't take long to calm him down. Though he still jumps when I move.

Purdy st chickens I ever saw lol I figured on asking around to some folks around here that might have them when I get around to building a coop. I wanna be prepared for them first. I will probably wait till next spring since we are still getting everything in order for the ducks. Seems like we need to build Or do something different for them every weekend so far ! I know of a hatchery about an hour away that has the silver ones. But I'd rather have the golden. I could try to order hatching eggs and borrow an incubator. . .No. Couldn't find any!
They are gorgeous aren't they!
I haven't had a problem with hatchery Wyandottes, the ones I've had have all been very calm and friendly and pretty decent layers. (Can't say yet for the SLWs since they're only three month old)

Ouch.
Don't think I've seen anyone that has been displeased with them. I'm sure they're out there, but I just haven't found any yet.I was just going to say that I agree with Banti about all she mentioned about the OEGBs. They're wonderful birds.
