Off to get labs and a repeat scan. Pray for 1-2 healthy little beans instead of an ectopic.

Had a repeat scan today, they saw evidence of MAYBE 1 sac, with a possible 2-3 more in there, they aren't sure. She wouldn't be at all surprised if it's "at least twins" - she couldn't say they WERE sacs, just that it's possible what we saw were sacs in there.

Dr's gonna give me a copy of pictures after our apt, I go in 30 minutes for the follow-up.
I'll know more for sure by june 30th, but I have another scan the 27th on tuesday with a follow up friday to check for heartbeat(s)

So, between running around for most of the day, I managed to get half a pen built. So much for all the stuff I was planning on doing.

Topaz is behaving wonderful now that he's away from the other roosters. Why couldn't he stay a brat instead of buttering me up like this?? Sigh... Someone's got to go, I guess, and it's him in the front row. Wish someone would take him, I think that with maturity he'd make a fantastic flock guardian.

Oh, and Alex decided to make me hunt around in the dark for him. Dumb bird decided to sleep in the lumber pile. The coons woulda loved it had he stayed there.

It wasn't you, it was the picture of the godforsaken ugly dux staring at the meteor about to splat him....








I spent all day securing a fence/run and now I just cross my fingers and hope...

It's times like this I wish a I owned dux, that way I would not have to try the security out on a real bird.
