Thanks Benny! It is cheerful...
I could always hold my guineas if I had the proper protective gear on.

Where's the spa and sauna?I like that...
Me too. Ah well, probably would have been too much work to make it to the meetings.
Ouch! Not that hard.
Thanks; warmed up nicely out there.
Done... Now, soon as it's finished drying, I'll put in the windows & trim along the edges. Can't decide if I want white or the same red colour. Looks blotchy in the image 'cos I did half of it while I was up on the ladder and then did the lower bits after it dried.
No, I'm not that short, I just have trouble holding stuff above my head due to an old injury.

Sorry to hear about your chick.Good morning/evening everyone. We survived another 4th this year. Lost one of the Altsteriers chicks the other day. NN chick is still going strong thanks to its coop mates the Dominiques that I bought from the feed store.

Got my three new girls home! Didn't get pics of them yet but I posted some pics over at the pond of the other ducks and stuff my friend had where I went to get them. It was a fun day checking out all the critters!

Can you hold your guineas?
And a will written up....
Morning all. Someone kick my rear and tell me to finish painting. Tired.... Wanna sleep....

Lol...Mike. I see how some guineas will sit on people by choice. Amazing.
Sure, but your hands get cold after a bit.
Get to work!
Sorry about the chick. Vacation over?
Looks good!![]()
Not in there, they'd get their messy little beaks into it and make it filthy.Where's the spa and sauna?

Mine don't like to be held...they'll try to burst away or bite. But they are incredibly easy going otherwise, very herdable...and I can call them with eggs now.
Mmmmm...soup!Not in there, they'd get their messy little beaks into it and make it filthy.
I could only catch mine with another person helping, and even then they nearly killed themselves trying to get away. No, mine wouldn't let you near them, they were real fun to catch, not. I'm undecided on their meat value. I was told by someone that raises and sells them to restaurants to try French Guineas, more meat and process at 12 weeks. So, I might try them at some point, if I decide I like the meat enough.
Some of mine have appeared extra tasty when misbehaving. Funny how that works! No, mine wouldn't let you near them, they were real fun to catch, not. I'm undecided on their meat value.
