EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

I'm assuming heat stroke has gotten you by now :sick

80s on the main floor, bedrooms upstairs are much warmer. HVAC guy told me today it will take 2 weeks to get the part. Work has been running upwards of 85% humidity indoors. I never cool off, nauseated ... so I suppose I'm working on it.

90 racing to 100. Several fires in area. 12 have lost homes. About hours drive away

Stay safe!

I didn't think it was too hot today here. Tablet says 83° outside but when I walked out, it hit me like a brick! We butchered 13 meaties this morning but brought them inside to clean them in the AC. I didn't go back outside until around 5. If I knew it was so smothering, we would've gone to the pool. Anyway, worked outside for about an hour doing random things and I feel like I was walking around in the rain, just soaked! Tomorrow is supposed to be in the mid 90s, no doubt high humidity.

Spikes a couple inches long, or more

I see your Governor is at odds with your DNR...fired a bunch of people in retribution for raising license fees to help the floundering DNR

Ouch, Haven't heard anything about the Governor.

Same weather up here & ugh my Central Air is broken!

That stinks, good luck staying cool.

Really humid here too, with more rain on the way.

Baby B didn't make it - but Baby A is doing well.
He or She looks like a little gummi bear.

Oh my. That's awful.

Fire last night was just up the hill. 30 minutes. Friend at work who's house almost got it last year, his parents house came real close this time. One house burned down there. The other fire is in the area that the floods from the dam that almost failed at the start of the year. 11 houses there. Not sure it's out. The one by my friends is out.

Thanks.
You guys can have all that humidity. However it may be a deterrent for fires. 10% humidity here and things happen so fast.
