Some are better than others. We've had better luck with males. The females we have now are useless.Me too.we've thought about that before.

We have some pure-bred EE eggs in the incubator right now, but 90% of the ones that have hatched, have been roosters. Out of the 3 that hatched previously, all were boys!
We need to cull the two roosters next week. I'm going to make my husband do it. haha
Pregnancy is going okay - I'm just over 8 weeks now, so about 30 weeks to go.
I keep only male llamas that were gelded around three years of age. Some are better than others. We've had better luck with males. The females we have now are useless.
How are you? Baby? Nice it 'hear' from you.![]()

We started with a four yr old gelded male and followed with another gelded male. The one started picking the ewes up by their back leg or hip and he hurt a ewe. We finally had to put him with the adult rams. We thought we'd get females to get away from those issues. We just got other issues...lol.I keep only male llamas that were gelded around three years of age.
