EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Nope. I haven't had time yet. Thought about trying an hour ago, but my body is glued to the recliner. Feet up, wet hair trailing down the back of the chair. "Designing Women" reruns playing on television.
Shopping is done, credit card is smoking (meat prices are crazy!), little coop is moved up to the house. Some repairs have been made. I could really use a massage. :( One nice thing about marriage is having a spouse to ease the pain.
I'll take your word for it

Hey guys. Been awhile. 10 chicks from two broodies. Have taken all as the nest is too high for chicks to get back and hen abandons eggs. Plus it's a good way to finish off the latter laid eggs as hen sticks with it. I have another broody starting 0 eggs. Seems she forgot an ingredient.

We have been too stinking hot. 100 plus all next week past few days haven't been under 100. Nights are in 70's so it's some relief.

Went to Oregon last weekend for wedding. Supposed to be cooler there. 90* some sort of record for them. Next week is supposed to be a scorcher there

You don't have to hate them. If you give them enough notice, they'll probably gather under the cloud of smoke, holding steaks high in the air. Might even invite you over.

Hi Pensmaster! :frow

Sounds miserably hot out that way. I hope you enjoyed the wedding. Not sure what to say about the broody with the missing ingredient. :lau

Good to hear the progress on your new coop.

Thought about buying eggs for her but it's just too hot to ship. Might give her some from mine.
I'll be thrilled when I can move my birds out of the current sieve. Honestly, I'm shocked I have any birds left based off the condition of that thing.
