So far the steps I did was remove the turner and place the eggs on their sides with the lowest part of the air cell facing up. I covered the mesh bottom with a sterile non slip porous cloth. Maybe that is preventing the humidity from going up?

The porous cloth is the problem. I've even had paper towels hold the moisture below the wire. It shouldn't have but I sure fought the humidity when I use it.

I got home from getting fencing supplies to find a bird has dug a hole half way to China in my driveway...

I know it is sand, but she could have found a better place to dig..

You'd think there was a whole storm of moon rocks that bounced off my yard, the way them critters dig holes... I got chooks, not dogs, or at least I thought I did.

Today was my last day of freedom. School starts next Wednesday. . but I'll have something I'll have to do everything day in preparation. And stupid meetings.
Ordered some supplies from Lowes for the duck mansion the hubby is building. Way too much money. Oh well you can't take it with you right? Was hoping it would come in this week so we could work on it this weekend. But no. It will be here Monday.
So my days of lurking are about over. Probably won't be able to keep up!
