Hey Benny, pretty sure that is a not true. HS is common - sure - but NOT in "almost 100%" of humans.
Also do not think that most chickens have mareks.
....
In all seriousness, I think of distance in miles if I'm actually experiencing the distance in person. Our land is measured and mapped in miles, I can physically count it out if I'm finding someone's house. And plus I'm a farmer. I talk sections and bushels, not hectares and tonnes.
But with speed and clocked distances...I think in kms. The metric system caught me partway in school so I "technically" use both.![]()
Can you even get to your birds?B..we may end up running out of food if things continue they way they do.
Over night me some fresh bread, eggs and meat.
Tell the postal worker to boat it to the house surrounded by water!
Thank you.
Shhhh![]()
You can learn anything on YoutubeMakes sense. Soon as I'm switched over to LF that are worth eating I will probably process and quit selling.
I still have to figure out how to take said dead bird and make it edible---I can kill 'em but it's fear of the unknown that's getting me on the next part.
I need to talk to my neighbour and beg processing lessons off him. The other place I was going to go to didn't work out.
Wonderful! You will think we are monsters if a showed you a pic inside one of our freezers.
We breed to feed. We re-home offspring to take care of the expenses. NOBODY WANTS A ROOSTER!. When we do get a call for a roo, they want to pay no more than $5! My husband tells them the Bird is 4 months old, a single bag of feed costs $14 and a bag doesn't last 4 months! If he is in a cruddy mood he tells them you might as well take the rest of his money from his wallet while they are at it!
He has culinary arts training and doesn't flinch or hesitate to prep a roo. I just enjoy his cooking and don't hang around for the dirty work..
Thank you. I've watched videos until my eyes went funny, but nothing beats hands-on experience alongside someone that knows what they're doing.I used this one when I was a teen learning about processing. This is actually a two-parter but this is the butchering side of it not the killing side.
....Maybe I will have to borrow your hubby for a bit after all.View attachment 1123219
I don't want nuttin to do with that part!
To me, what is in and happens to while in the cone, I like to keep it unknown, to me. I'm a gatherer, not a hunter.
Good news.Oh no...husband wants ducks. D:
I just wonder what kind of furry or feathered little darling was hiding in that hat when you took it?
HS -1 is almost 70% world wide and in 90% of American.Hey Benny, pretty sure that is a not true. HS is common - sure - but NOT in "almost 100%" of humans.
