EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

I hope you have been well too. I usually can move the group in quite well using pressure like I do in a round pen, but one pullet that was already going back and forth agitatedly because she could not figure out how to get in for some odd reason after the others had all gone in is a different story.
I hope it doesn't need surgery. MRI first.
MRIs are wonderful...as they tell the exact story. The doctors I saw about my back could tell one thing from my x-ray, but they were guessing on what was causing issues. MRI showed multiple things. They originally had me doing something in physio and had to stop me everything right away because they were getting me to do incorrect things. They should've sent me for an MRI at the beginning! :smack
I get all my reports now and research things first now. :D

Make sure they "actually" know what they are talking about first. :hugs

Hi Wicked. :frow I saw you were out combing the fields. Did you use something like this ...
iu
Oh no! Was I out combing again??? :barnie :lau That word is the bane of my existence.:th
I should type "straight cutting" I don't get that word wrong. :smack
I also caught that I wanted grood protein. Maybe just good is enough.
:lau Who needs a comedian when I make such horrendous mistakes??:lau

I'm rushing to much...I've got to get going and I'm trying to squeeze everything in.:p

:wootGot done this field done last night. It's hard red spring...really nice looking grain...I hope it has good protein.:fl (I might have to sneak some for the chickies)
We're moving into another field today; same grain, same variety.

Good to see the field done.
SO much nicer than housework that never "stays done." :lau

Congratulations on getting that done. If you're done, do you want to come stack the 225 bales of hay I'm supposed to get tonight after work?

Thanks, that's a good idea.

Not done yet...several more fields to go. But if it rains...and you're talking round bales...then I can come.:thumbsup
(I can't lift squares anymore. My back is toast...I'm just able to lift small pails of water for the chickens now. I had to ice before I could do my chickie chores this morning).:(

Now that really is a bummer. I will be there soon enough with as hard as I have used my body. No, I got my round bales earlier these are the last of the square bales that I need. I can do 100 or 125 pretty easily but after that it gets to be real work as high as I have to stack. Now with my shoulder hurting it's going to probably take a couple of days and I'll just have to tarp the trailers.
