How many months till processing? and do you need to grain them or just hay feed?

Usually lamb in spring and shipped once fall crop was through. Higher prices around Dec/Jan. They pastured and got grain to finish. They aren't sheep you can force feed...they take less feed. They finish a little later than some but also brought the higher prices. I bought a purebred Suffolk to put over them while BSE was going on up here...those lambs finished a month ahead of my pure breeding stock but they ate way more and got into more things.
